Looking for something creative to do this weekend in Mississauga? Here are a few highlights:

Becoming and Being presented by Visual Arts Mississauga

Becoming And Being features the work of 10 emerging artists that connected through VAM’s Professional Development Course taught by Fausta Facciponte. This exhibition shines a spotlight on a variety of works that celebrate the emerging artist voice. The exhibition features work by Laura Barbiero, Neena Bowden, Jessie Chui, Diane Dowsett, ecmunson, ForthSanity.Ink, Renuka Kamath, Kiran Kudva, Yve Lu Trinh, and Anamika Nambiar. On now till February 5 at Visual Arts Mississauga, the opening reception is February 3, 6 PM – 8 PM.

Over Hill and Dale

Experience Over Hill and Dale at Heather’s Bakery Café! Artists Karen Brown, Kayla Jackson and Connie Munson will be hanging an eclectic mix of acrylic, oil, pastels, photography, and mixed media work at Heather’s Bakery Café. Hanging in the café from February 1 – 28.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical – Encore Series – presented by Meadowvale Music Theatre

The third of five classic Broadway hits as a part of this stellar series!
