Norma Nicholson is Founder of IgnitePress. She is a self published author whose body of work focuses on helping youth and families overcome challenges with Black anti- racism.

Norma often says that ‘Human potential is limitless’. As a retired RN with a BA in Psychology and Sociology and an MA (Ed) in Adult Education, she is a powerful contributor to communities by bringing leadership and commitment for growth and safety.

Norma focuses on the needs of at-risk youth and families and acts as a compass for managing unhealthy behaviours that can occur in the youth population which unfortunately connects them to the justice system. Her passion is to see Black families strive especially those who are unfamiliar with the several systems that suppress them.

She is an ardent motivational , public and keynote speaker. She has authored and published four books and specifically uses “Young Lives on the Line, You can make a difference” as one of the tools to educate and mentor youth.
