Artist Statement I had worked with different subjects before like mother and child, daily life , and homeless people etc. More than 15 years I have been focusing on the subject of Human Mind and Senses. What I realized is.It is a very complex, very important and very interesting subject matter.. The information I understand about Human Mind and Senses that usually put in my paintings I am trying to show the Human Mind and Senses power according to our development stage of our Mind and Senses. There are three stages of our Mind and Senses. First is not the developed stage, the second one is the developed stage and the third is highly developed of our Mind and Senses. In another words, the first one is an uneducated person, the second one is an educated person and the third is a Genius person. My Human Mind and Senses works start from the Highly develop stages of Human Mind and Senses or describing about the Genius Mind Or According to Hundu belief of awakening the Mind and Senses process when a person reaches the highest level of chakra Sahasrara - Chakra (Crown Chakra) their mind and senses power enlarge. That power I am trying to show extending our Mind and Senses outward in my art work. When a person reaches that level their knowledge reaches the universal form and so many things. Each of these painting describe about these I get inspiration from humans and many more things like nature, natural beings, man made things.etc. I love to work on different mediums like watercolor, pastel color, print, mix media, oil and Acrylic on canvas etc. Education and Exhibition History Shobha Wagley was born in Nepal.
