The Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival week opened Monday night at the Small Arms Inspection Building with two original theatre productions. The second in the program – “Why?” a series of devised youth theatre performances, presented by The Hive Performing Arts Canada, delivered a one of a kind theatre experience, written and performed by talented young Indo-Canadian actors appearing in 20 little plays in 50 minutes of provocative, entertaining, insightful theatre. “Why?” will be back on Wednesday and check out the varied array of English and Indian language plays, appearing for the first time as part of this remarkable initiative from Sawitri Theatre Group. Check out the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival and see something special – while you can!
