Presented by the non-profit Creative Hub 1352, the Mississauga Festival of Trees is bringing a variety of events this holiday season.

The following three events are the main features of the festival:

• Artisan market: The event features the artistic handmade works of at least 40 local vendors on sale. It runs from Dec. 2 to Dec. 4.

• Workshops: This one will allow the attendees to join in a variety of activities from painting holiday cards to birch deer-making and more from Dec. 6 to 8. Pre-registration is required

• Culinary market: The culinary market at the Festival of Trees will feature a variety of tasty foods to try and to gift this holiday season.

Apart from these events, canopies of seasonal holiday lights and art installations will be on display from Dec. 2 to 11.

“Artist created tree and wood piling installations will be on view during the festival. These stunning, commissioned works will transform the Small Arms Inspection Building and aren’t to be missed,” the event website stated.

Different groups of musicians will be performing live music throughout the events.

The festival runs from Dec. 2 to Dec. 11 at the Small Arms Inspection Building, at 1352 Lakeshore Rd. E. Admission is pay as you can at the door.
