“A free Christmas show will be hitting the Living Arts Centre (LAC) in Mississauga soon to get the community into the holiday spirit.

The Gift of Christmas, presented by the Salvation Army, will be returning to the LAC on Dec. 11.

The show, which has become an annual tradition since 1998, aims to celebrate the “real” meaning of Christmas through music, drama and carol singing.

For over 20 years, the show has gathered members of the community to celebrate the holiday season.

“We have been celebrating the season with the Gift of Christmas since 1998 and are excited to return this year,” reads the City of Mississauga’s website.

This year’s performers include Phylicia and Cameron Rawlins, choirs and the Mississauga Temple Band.

The all-ages event will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
