The 2023 Oakville Film Festival is happening live in our community and the excitement is building! We are celebrating 10 years as Oakville’s only independent film festival and will run from June 21-27^th 2023 as a hybrid event.

With mostly live screenings, we will also offer some hybrid and virtual only screenings to accommodate our filmmakers submitting from throughout North America and internationally.

Each year, OFFA highlights International, Canadian and Regional premieres along with independent films, documentaries, and short films.

The 10^th annual Oakville Film Festival launches on Wednesday June 21^st, which is National Indigenous People’s Day in Canada, with a special GALA evening highlighting Indigenous film, song, and dance, plus the Canadian Premiere of an incredible new film. Other GALAS will feature Canadian and International Premieres, with guests from around the world participating in the festival.

As a special event for our 2023 festival, OFFA will offer a number of virtual screenings of GALA films from past years, giving new members a chance to see past OFFA film favourites, with recent Q&As with directors that can be accessed for the full week of the festival.

For our 10^th anniversary, we will also be offering FREE TICKETS to anyone 21 years of age and under (pending availability), to any of our festival screenings at Film.ca. 

As well, all Q&A’s and events will be available as livestreamed events for the June festival.
