I’m Jasy. I’m an 20 year old singer raised in Toronto. I started playing piano at 7 and singing publicly at 12 years old. While living in Belgium, I’ve performed at talent shows and school concerts. I’ve always had a passion for music as I was raised in an old-school hip hop and R&B household. Being influenced by artists such as Craig David, Boyz II Men, Justin Timberlake, Destiny’s Child, Chris Brown. As I grew up, I started having a passion for writing songs and poems and decided that I wanted to write and release my first debut single, Rising Queen. During my last year in Belgium, I recorded my single and released it in 2020. I’ve continued to write and feature in songs to show people my music. Singing and songwriting is my escape from the real world and to communicate with others through the love of music. I’ve always wanted to inspire others around me.
